Abstract: For an enterprise, respectively for its management, risk is the unknown which brings uncertainty into a business, be it operational or financial. The management in an enterprise traditionally deals with assessing and organizing daily work, and is only partly focused on the risk as a threat to a company to suffer losses or lose potential benefits. Each activity undertaken by individuals, enterprises, and institutions is subject to the possibility of failure due to the risks to which they are exposed to. It is, however, the task of the management to do everything within their power to identify different types of risks and assess them based on scientific methodologies. One method of managing the risk is to put it under insurance. This provides a perspective for the future to the work of individuals and institutions. This article explains the phenomenon of risk in enterprises based on the data collected from reference texts and from the survey conducted in Kosovo enterprises. The aim of the article is to highlight the need for professionalism and standards in the management of the enterprises in Kosovo. In addition, we consider this as an important factor which provides for the development and sustainability of an enterprise. In conclusion, we brought up the necessity of risk management, defined the goal, and listed the risks and methods of risk management, which was based on the data extracted from the research.\r\n\r\nKeywords: enterprise, risk, management, insurance, insecurity.

Abstract: This article provides an overview of the most commonly used road freight vehicles and handling equipment for commercial purposes internationally. Commercial road freight vehicles (trucks) can be divided into rigid vehicles and combination vehicles. The investigation has indicated that subsequent to the economic deregulation of freight transport, there are 12 types of trailers and semitrailers commonly used internationally. They are (1) van; (2) refrigerated van; (3) container carrier; (4) flatbed trailer; (5) low-bed semitrailer; (6) tanker; (7) livestock trailer; (8) dry bulk (hopper) trailer; (9) furniture van (pantechnicon); (10) motorcar carrier; (11) side stanchion trailer; and (12) open-top trailers. The study revealed that the following two factors mainly dictate road freight vehicle design: (1) characteristics of the freight to be transported; and (2) the type of freight terminals and handling equipment necessary to efficiently and effectively accommodate and support road freight transport. These two factors are discussed in the article.

Abstract: The employees motivation is assumed to be significantly affected by their leaders behavior, their personal characteristics, and the nature of their tasks. The causal study reported here aimed to examine the hypothesis. It was conducted in the Educational Office of the DKI Jakarta Province, through a four-month survey, from May 2009 to September 2009, involving 150 staff members who had been randomly selected from the overall 247 staff members. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents filling in a questionnaire. A path technique was employed to analyze the data. The results show positively direct effects of the leaders behavior, the staffs personal characteristics, and the nature of their tasks on their work motivation. A positively direct effect of the leaders behavior was also apparent on the staffs personal characteristics and also the nature of their tasks. But the leaders behavior showed a positively indirect effect on the staffs motivation through their personal characteristics and the characteristics of their tasks. The findings suggest that variation in the staffs motivation could be minimized if the variables of the leaders behavior, the staffs personal characteristics, and the nature of their tasks are taken into consideration. Keywords: Staff’s Motivation, Leader’s Behavior, Staff’s Personal Characteristics and The Nature of Their Tasks.

Abstract: Abstrack In Indonesia, creative music training for elementary school teacher has not been conducted so far. Therefore, there is no model or manual for creative music training which include appreciation, creativity and expression. The general objective of this research was to develop training model for creative music arts (appreciation, creation and expression) which can enhance learning competencies of Elementary School art teachers. The research objectives of this development were to analyze the training management model for creative musics that has been conducted on elementary school teachers; to design a valid conceptual training management model for creative musics for elementary school teachers; and to test the effectiveness of training model for creative musics of elementary school teachers in developing their creative music art competencies. This study was conducted in procedural model adapted from educational research and development and procedural model. Further the procedural model was modified into three steps of research and development, i.e. the preliminary study stage as step of needs and content analysis; the development stage as the step of design, development, and evaluation; testing the effectiveness of the product as step of semi-summative evaluation. Results showed that the most urgent components needed in art training for creative musics (creative musics and the appreciation as well as creation) were the goal of the training program, the relevance of training materials and media used by the instructors, thus getting the appropriate training for primary school teachers. It still needs improvement in the training quality specifically in the form of training related to its procedures and implementation, the clarity targets of the training program to be achieved, and the media used in training which is easy for elementary school teachers to receive the information. Abstract: Traditional high-performance computing (HPC) services for scientific applications offer high performance and advantages such as large-scale task execution, concurrency, load balancing, and system utilization. However, they fail to provide any scalability due to their inflexible architectures. Therefore, to provide scalability as well as cloud advantages, “HPC over Cloud services” has become a major area of interest in the field of HPC research. To provide a HPC over Cloud service, any of three representative base architectures can be adopted. These are bare metal (BM)-based, container-based, and virtual machine (VM)-based. The results of a study which compared these three base architectures indicated that the container- and BM-based architectures offer almost the same levels of performance. In this study, we set out to design a research-specific cloud system for HPC over Cloud service. As part of our efforts, we build a test-bed system which provides a real container-based HPC over Cloud service for evaluation. The results of our experiments indicate that the proposed system architecture for a container-based HPC over Cloud service can be successfully adopted for practical applications.

Abstract: Chile has made advances in an implementation of a staff selection mechanism to assume positions of senior public management, based in a transparent and equitable selection process, considering the merits and trajectory of every person. This mechanism, called “Senior Public Management System”, appears due to vast cases of corruption. In this way, the principal aim of this paper is to analyze the most important facts related to the implementation of the chilean Senior Public Management System in the period 2007-2015. To achieve this objective, different sources of information were reviewed, mainly web pages of pertinent organisms. In general terms, it can be concluded that Chile has made progress in implementing a system of selection of senior public managers, but has still not made a separation between the political work and the administrative responsabilities, which implies a huge task ahead for our public administration.

Abstract: It seems obvious people are able to distinguish truth and falsehood and they prefer truth. Therefore, totalitarian regimes use tight censorship to impose their distorted views on reality. Since 2013 Russian authorities have attempted to construct a false view on political affairs abroad using intensive propaganda. Most of Russians agree with the propaganda view although tight censorship is absent in Russia. Our goal was to explain this phenomenon. We hypothesized only very rational individuals are able to resist the propaganda and the effect of the propaganda is persistent because the campaign induces positive and negative emotions and its superposition generates a stable state in the mind. We used the tests on anxiety, hostility, self-esteem, rationality, and a special questionnaire on the propaganda. High scores on the rationality test were a main characteristic of individuals disagreed with the propaganda. The factorial analysis of the questionnaire reveals two factors. Psychological variables which negatively correlate with one factor positively correlate with the second one and vice versa. The rationality of people seems overstated.

Abstract: Post Tiananmen narrative enters a larger post-colonial, post-modern discourse where time is up to come to terms with history. Chinese postmodernism in the 90s moves away from the political influences that had spoiled the narrative in recent decades, towards an incontrovertible spiritual exploration, very much realist when it’s twisted with history and rather expressionist when it’s a process of self-discovery. This paper focuses on the attempt to distinguish the past two decades of Chinese literary production into two patterns, one impressed by reality and one expressed by the abyss of one own self.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc networks is a wireless infrastructure less, heterogeneous, distributed & multi hop network. When compared to infrastructure based networks, MANETs have characteristics such as absence of central coordinator, dynamic network topology and constrained resources. In MANETs communication is possible through wireless radio communication medium and it does not have any physical protection & vulnerable to security solutions. Moreover, peer-to-peer network characteristic makes fundamental weak point to security attacks. Therefore, it needs a security solution to address various types of attacks on MANETs. Another challenge of MANETs is that nodes are equipped with constrained energy & it is highly difficult to recharge/replace the batteries of nodes during the mission. The major requirement in distributed environment, is providing energy efficiency along with security, for MANETs various energy efficient protocols & security protocols are developed but these mechanisms are not well suited for MANETs critical applications. Thus a single method is needed to address both the (energy & security) requirements in a single process. However, finding the secure efficient routing path between source to destination is most challenging task in this network characteristics such as lack of infrastructure, peer to peer network & resource constrain environment. In this work we are demonstrating the importance of energy efficiency along with secure routing in MANETs & review the recent relevant work. While developing a mechanism on this issue, one should need to overcome two problems i.e. Packet dropping bottleneck intermediate node & trusted third party security solutions. Therefore we proposed a secure energy efficient routing protocol to mitigate malicious activities accurately in routing layer by considering the packet loss reasons. Our proposed approach provides the authentication by chaotic maps, which has faster computation speed compare to RSA & ECC and could not be possible to solve in polynomial time by adversary

Abstract: Compensation for damage caused to life and health of a person, is a measure of civil legal liability that is applied to guarantee the fulfillment of obligations which arise from harm to human life and health. Amongst different features of such a type of obligation the major attention is given to its object, namely life or health. Life and health are the objects of civil rights, which by their nature are not directly related to property rights and benefits. It is generally accepted that the civil matters concerning the life and health arise only in the event of infringements of these objects. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides different legal ways to protect violated rights and benefits of a private character, and different legal means to enforce the performing of an obligation. Considering the features of obligations to compensate the damage caused to life and health of an individual, authors deal with the role and meaning of insurance as a method of their fulfillment. Major attention is given to the types of insurance that have compulsory character in accordance with current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and those that insure the civil legal liability of a potential tortfeasor.

Abstract: Areas where mining activities takes place are susceptible to landscape changes and environmental degradation. Landscape studies using Earth observation datasets are not new, but challenging in developing countries like Ghana where natural resources abound. Most studies are often tailored towards the south due to the vast urbanization and natural resources to the neglect of the North Western part. This study quantified the LULCC for three periods (1991-2000-2014) with Landsat imageries using a supervised classification approach. LULCCs were estimated based on statistical techniques. The use of FRAGSTATS was applied to determine the spatial heterogeneity of the landscapes and the changes thereof. Principal component analysis revealed the correlation structure of the landscape metrics and determined the trends of the LULCC in a multivariate way. The results showed a reduction in vegetation cover or shrub land at the expense of rising bare ground and settlement. It further showed fragmentation of landscape from 1991 to 2000 slightly lower than from 2000 to 2014. The increase in population, anthropogenic, illegal mining and socio economic activities has resulted in these fragmentations. These overall results suggest taking appropriate measures to conserve these precious ecologically natural ecosystem of the region and check the degrading woodland loss.

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to examine the effects of eleven predictor variables on the number of cattle owned by breed type of communal cattle farmers in Botswana. The response variable is the total number of cattle owned by breed type. The standard Poisson regression model was fitted to the data but was found to be inadequate.\\nThe results of the Negative Binomial regression model reveals that gender, marital status, farming status of the holder, economic activities undertaken in the holding, source of income for the holding, use of farm labour in the holding and educational level of the household head are significant factors affecting the number and the types of breeds of cattle owned. Female headed households, holdings with no other economic activities undertaken, holdings with other main source of income and holdings with no farm labour, on average have a smaller number of cross and exotic cattle breeds.
