Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this study combines quantitative data from questionnaires with qualitative insights from interviews to explore the impact of e-commerce on economic conditions and social status. Findings reveal that e-commerce facilitates the commercialization of Miao embroidery, providing women with new income opportunities and promoting economic independence. This research contributes to the discourse on poverty alleviation, gender equality, and the commercialization of intangible cultural heritage in the digital era.
